Hawa Shelter Homes are the umbrella frame work of Star Welfare
Organization for women’s rights & access to social inclusion that is
located in street # 2 new abadi koot fareed city Sargodha, Punjab. We maintain
two 90-bed & 25-bed shelters location for women who have left
abusive relationships with or without their children and an off-site location
for women in the community who are seeking support. Agency staff provides
counselling, safety planning, women and children’s groups, legal and court
support, referrals, economic rehabilitation, and information and education
about violence against women and girls. So that women are fully empowerment and
equipped with required skills for successful re-integration into the society.
It is one of the few facilities in Seattle that accepts women with male children up to age 10. This shelter is designed to create an enabling environment to develop and demonstrate a system which leads to full rehabilitation and self-fulfilment of survivors of Gender Based Violence (GBV) that provides shelter and supportive services to women and their children.
