Star Welfare Organization continues its mission under Clause No. (2) of its Constitution: Women’s Welfare.
Reuniting Separated Families with Their Loved Ones
On October 19, 2025, the Tarkhanwala Police Station, Sargodha, brought an elderly woman to Star Welfare Organization. The police informed us that the woman had been found abandoned and appeared to have an impaired mental condition. They requested that she be admitted to Star Welfare Organization for care and protection.
Following her admission, the Star Welfare Organization team worked day and night to locate her family members. A social media campaign was launched to help identify her relatives.
On October 21, 2025, Muhammad Waryam and Hamida Bibi from the Charagah area of Bhera City arrived at Star Welfare Organization. They identified the woman as their paternal aunt and explained that she had a mental health condition and had accidentally travelled to Sargodha in a vehicle.
They said:
"We saw the social media post shared by Star Welfare Organization and came here immediately. We are deeply grateful to you for safely caring for and returning our aunt to us."
This successful reunion is another example of Star Welfare Organization's commitment to serving humanity and reuniting vulnerable individuals with their families.
Star Welfare Organization currently cares for several elderly women, women living with mental health conditions, abandoned individuals, and vulnerable women who require shelter, protection, and support.
