Star Welfare Organization Continues Its Mission of Women’s Welfare under Constitution No. (2)
A Woman Suffering from Violence by Her Husband and In-Laws Admitted to Star Welfare Organization
On February 12, 2025, Kishwar Sultana, a resident of Ali Pur Syedan, Bhera, reported to the police that she had three children with Ghulam Abbas. She stated that her husband’s behavior toward her was extremely aggressive. According to her, physically abusing her and failing to provide household expenses had become his routine. She further alleged that her husband and in-laws subjected her to violence without any reason, due to which she had become extremely distressed.
She reported that the previous day, her husband had physically assaulted her and broken her hands. Following her complaint, SHO Bhera Police Station, Arbab Tufail, arrested Ghulam Abbas and registered a case against him.
For the woman’s protection and safety, the police admitted her to Star Welfare Organization, where she is being provided with food, clothing, medical treatment, and all other essential necessities of life completely free of cost.
