Star Welfare Organization Continues Its Mission of Women’s Welfare Under Clause No. (2) of Its Constitution
On October 20, 2026, Samia Yasmeen, wife of Samar Abbas, a resident of Subhrawal Colony, Fatima Jinnah Street No. 13, Sargodha, arrived at Star Welfare Organization accompanied by her three children, sister, and mother.
She stated that her husband works as a manual laborer (porter). Six months ago, her husband asked her to claim her share of her parents’ property and said that he would also claim his share from his own parents’ property. He further expressed his desire to marry a second time.
In response, she told him that he could marry a second time, but she would not claim any share of her parents’ property. However, she made it clear that if he decided to marry again, he would still be required to provide financial support for her and their children.
Upon hearing this, her husband became furious and expelled her from the house. She has been living at her parents’ home for the past six months.
Samia Yasmeen has appealed to Star Welfare Organization to help her obtain child maintenance from her husband through legal proceedings so that she can provide for her children.
Sajida Hayat, Executive Member of Star Welfare Organization, has received Samia Yasmeen’s application. A case will soon be filed in court on Samia’s behalf.

مورخہ 20۔ اکتوبر 2026ء کو سمعیہ یاسمین زوجہ ثمر عباس سکنہ سبھروال کالونی فاطمہ جناح گلی نمبر 13 سرگودہا اپنے 3بچوں‘ بہن اور والدہ کے ہمراہ سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن میں آ گئی اور بتایا کہ میرا شوہر پلہ داری کا کام کرتا ہے‘ 6 ماہ قبل میرے شوہر نے مجھے میرے والدین کی جائیداد سے حصہ لینے کا کہا اور کہا کہ میں بھی اپنے والدین سے جائیداد کا حصہ لیتا ہوں‘ اس نے کہا کہ میں دوسری شادی بھی کرنا چاہتا ہوں جس پر میں نے کہا کہ تم دوسری شادی کر سکتے ہو لیکن میں اپنے والدین کی جائیداد میں سے حصہ نہیں مانگوں گی‘ اس کے علاوہ اگر تم دوسری شادی کرتے ہو تو مجھے اور میرے بچوں کو خرچہ دینا ہو گا جس پر وہ آگ بگولا ہو گیا اور مجھے گھر سے نکال دیا اور میں 6 ماہ سے اپنے والدین کے گھر پر ہوں۔ میری سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن سے اپیل ہے کہ میرے خاوند سے عدالت کے ذریعے میرے بچوں کا خرچہ دلوایا جائے تاکہ میں ان کی کفالت کر سکوں۔ایگزیکٹو ممبر سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن ساجدہ حیات نے سمعیہ یاسمین کی درخواست لے لی ہے اور بہت جلد کورٹ میں سمعیہ کی طرف سے کیس دائر کر دیا جائیگا‘ سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن خواتین کی امداد کیلئے 24 گھنٹے کام کر رہی ہے اس مشن میں اگر آپ عطیات دینا چاہیں تو ان اکاؤنٹس میں امداد جمع کروا سکتے ہیں۔
