Star Welfare Organization Continues Its Mission of Women’s Welfare Under Article No. (2) of Its Constitution

SEARCH FOR LEGAL GUARDIANS

On October 13, 2026, the police from Cantt Police Station, Sargodha, brought a girl named Atiya Abrar, approximately 14–15 years old, to Star Welfare Organization.

She stated that she was a resident of Rawalpindi and that her parents wanted to force her to marry her maternal aunt’s son, who uses drugs. She did not want to marry him. According to her statement, when her mother told her to leave the house, she boarded a vehicle and arrived in Sargodha. The police subsequently brought her to Star Welfare Organization.

Atiya expressed that she did not wish to return home and requested shelter. In response to her request, Star Welfare Organization provided her with shelter, where she is being offered all necessary facilities and services completely free of charge.

مورخہ 13۔ اکتوبر 2026کوپولیس تھانہ کینٹ سرگودہاایک لڑکی عطیہ ابرار عمر تقریباً14-15 سال کوسٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن میں لے آئی جس نے بتایا کہ میں راولپنڈی کی رہائشی ہوں‘میرے والدین میری زبردستی شادی میری خالہ کے بیٹے کیساتھ کرنا چاہتے ہیں جو کہ نشہ کر تا ہے‘میں اس سے شادی نہیں کرنا چاہتی جس پر میری والدہ نے کہا کہ گھر سے نکال جاؤ لہذا میں گاڑی میں بیٹھ کر سرگودہا پہہنچ گئی اور اب پولیس مجھے یہاں سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن آپ کے پاس لے آئی ہے‘اب میں واپس گھر نہیں جانا چاہتی مجھے شیلٹر دیا جائے‘ جس کے بعد عطیہ کو سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن میں شیلٹر دیدیا گیا جہاں اس کو تمام سہولیات بالکل فری دی جارہی ہیں‘ اگر آپ کفالت میں مدد کرنا چاہتے ہیں تو اپنے عطیات ان اکاؤنٹس میں بھیج سکتے ہیں۔
