Important Meeting Held at the District Election Commission Office, Sargodha

An important meeting was held at the District Election Commission Office, Sargodha, on 12 October 2026.

The meeting was chaired by Arshad Ali, District Election Officer, Election Commission Sargodha.

The meeting reviewed in detail the progress of ongoing activities under the CNIC and voter registration campaign, along with other related matters.

Suggestions were invited regarding the challenges faced by persons with disabilities and other marginalized groups in obtaining Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and registering as voters.

Baba Muhammad Shafiq Doger, President of Star Welfare Organization, attended the meeting and presented valuable recommendations on these issues to help improve access to CNIC and voter registration services for persons with disabilities and other marginalized communities.
