A Successful Journey from Addiction to Recovery
Star Welfare Organization is actively working to rehabilitate people suffering from drug addiction and help them return to a healthy and normal life.
Muhammad Irfan, a resident of Tariq Abad, Sargodha, was addicted to various types of drugs and had made drug use a part of his life for several years. His condition had deteriorated to such an extent that his behavior was seriously affecting his family and household.
Irfan’s brother-in-law came to Star Welfare Organization and reported that Irfan’s condition had become extremely serious and that he had set his house on fire. Upon receiving the information, Khidmatgar Baba Muhammad Shafiq Dogar, along with his team, immediately reached the location. They found that Muhammad Irfan had set fire to the house and that household belongings were engulfed in flames.
Khidmatgar Baba Muhammad Shafiq Dogar and his team immediately took action, extinguished the fire, and safely rescued Muhammad Irfan from inside the house.
Afterwards, Muhammad Irfan was admitted to the Star Drug Rehabilitation Center, where his treatment, counseling, and rehabilitation process were initiated under the supervision of a professional team.
During his treatment, the organization provided Muhammad Irfan with accommodation, nutritious food, clothing, and all other essential necessities of life completely free of charge. After spending considerable time receiving treatment and counseling at the center, Muhammad Irfan recovered and successfully returned to a normal life.
After his recovery, Muhammad Irfan said:
“I am deeply grateful to Khidmatgar Baba Muhammad Shafiq Dogar for helping me overcome the dangerous curse of drug addiction and giving me the opportunity to return to a better life.”
On this occasion, Khidmatgar Baba Muhammad Shafiq Dogar said:
“Drug addiction is a serious curse affecting our society, and we must all play our part in eliminating it. If you see drugs being sold anywhere, immediately inform the police. For the sake of Allah Almighty, help identify those involved in drug dealing. People suffering from drug addiction should be brought to the Star Drug Rehabilitation Center for treatment. We have a professional and experienced team providing treatment, counseling, and rehabilitation services. Alhamdulillah, many of our cases have been successfully completed, and numerous individuals have recovered and returned to normal lives.”
He further stated:
“It is a matter of pride for us that people suffering from drug addiction are referred to our organization for treatment and rehabilitation by the Police Protection Center Sargodha as well as from other districts. We maintain proper records of all these cases. We are also proud that a former patient from Sargodha appeared before the Inspector General of Punjab Police and, while speaking to the media, acknowledged the treatment and rehabilitation services provided by Star Welfare Organization.”

نشے سے نجات کی کامیاب داستان
سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن اپنے مشن کے تحت نشے میں مبتلا افراد کی بحالی اور انہیں دوبارہ معمول کی زندگی کی طرف لانے کے لیے عملی اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔
محمد عرفان، طارق آباد، سرگودھا کا رہائشی ہے، جو مختلف قسم کے نشہ جات کا عادی تھا اور کئی سال سے نشے کو اپنی زندگی کا حصہ بنا چکا تھا۔ اس کی حالت اس قدر تشویش ناک ہو چکی تھی کہ اس کے رویے سے گھر والوں کی زندگی بھی شدید متاثر ہو رہی تھی۔
محمد عرفان کا بہنوئی سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کے ادارے میں پہنچا اور بتایا کہ عرفان کی حالت انتہائی خراب ہے اور اس نے گھر کو آگ لگا دی ہے۔ اطلاع ملنے پر خدمت گار بابا محمد شفیق ڈوگر اپنی ٹیم کے ہمراہ فوری طور پر موقع پر پہنچے۔ وہاں دیکھا گیا کہ محمد عرفان نے گھر کے اندر آگ لگا رکھی تھی اور گھر کا سامان آگ کی لپیٹ میں تھا۔
خدمت گار بابا محمد شفیق ڈوگر اور ان کی ٹیم نے فوری طور پر آگ بجھائی اور محمد عرفان کو بحفاظت گھر سے باہر نکالا۔ بعد ازاں محمد عرفان کو سٹار ترکِ نشہ سنٹر میں داخل کرایا گیا، جہاں ماہر ٹیم کی نگرانی میں اس کا باقاعدہ علاج، کونسلنگ اور بحالی کا عمل شروع کیا گیا۔
ادارے کی جانب سے محمد عرفان کو علاج کے دوران رہائش، معیاری خوراک، لباس اور دیگر تمام ضروریاتِ زندگی کی سہولیات بلا معاوضہ فراہم کی گئیں۔ کافی عرصہ علاج اور کونسلنگ کے بعد محمد عرفان صحت یاب ہوا اور دوبارہ معمول کی زندگی کی طرف لوٹ آیا۔
صحت یابی کے بعد محمد عرفان نے کہا:
"میں خدمت گار بابا محمد شفیق ڈوگر کا تہہ دل سے شکر گزار ہوں کہ انہوں نے مجھے نشے جیسی خطرناک لعنت سے نجات دلانے میں مدد کی اور مجھے دوبارہ ایک بہتر زندگی کی طرف لوٹنے کا موقع فراہم کیا۔"
اس موقع پر خدمت گار بابا محمد شفیق ڈوگر نے کہا:
"نشہ ہمارے معاشرے کے لیے ایک خطرناک لعنت ہے، جس کے خاتمے کے لیے ہم سب کو اپنا کردار ادا کرنا ہوگا۔ جہاں کہیں بھی منشیات فروخت ہوتی نظر آئیں، وہاں فوری طور پر پولیس کو اطلاع دیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کی رضا کے لیے منشیات فروش عناصر کی نشاندہی کریں اور ایسے افراد جو نشے کی بیماری میں مبتلا ہیں، انہیں علاج کے لیے سٹار ترکِ نشہ سنٹر لائیں۔ ہمارے پاس ماہر اور تجربہ کار ٹیم موجود ہے جو مریضوں کے علاج، کونسلنگ اور بحالی کے لیے خدمات انجام دے رہی ہے۔ الحمدللہ، ہمارے متعدد کیسز کامیابی سے مکمل ہو چکے ہیں اور کئی افراد صحت یاب ہو کر دوبارہ معمول کی زندگی گزار رہے ہیں۔"
انہوں نے مزید کہا:
"یہ ہمارے لیے باعثِ فخر ہے کہ پولیس تحفظ مرکز سرگودھا سمیت دیگر اضلاع سے بھی منشیات کے عادی افراد کو علاج اور بحالی کے لیے ہمارے ادارے میں بھیجا جاتا ہے۔ ان تمام کیسز کا باقاعدہ ریکارڈ ہمارے پاس موجود ہے۔ ہمیں اس بات پر بھی فخر ہے کہ سرگودھا سے تعلق رکھنے والے ایک سابق مریض نے آئی جی پنجاب پولیس کے سامنے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے اپنے علاج اور بحالی کے حوالے سے سٹار ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کی خدمات کا اعتراف کیا۔"
