My name is Asia Bibi. My husband's name is Imran Abbas. My father's name is Hussain Bakhsh. I belong to the Kashmiri community. I am 35 years old. I live in Aasi Colony, Factory Area, Sargodha. I used to be addicted to crystal meth (ice). The police from 78 Pull, Cantt Police Station, Sargodha, arrested me while I was under the influence. They brought me to your institution — Star Welfare Organisation, Hawa Shelter Home. I arrived here on 24th April 2024.I am currently living here. My food, clothing, shelter, and basic necessities are being provided by Star Welfare Organisation, Hawa Shelter Home. Now, I feel that I am in a much better state than before. There should be institutions like this for people like us who are poor and need support. I am also thankful to the Cantt Police Station, Sargodha, for sending me here.My daughter Sonia Kanwal does not behave well. She is extremely disrespectful and, along with her husband, has treated me very badly — so much so that I cannot even put it into words. She used to fight with me and with my sons constantly. Because of her, I began using drugs.Addiction has destroyed my life. I have a 2-marla house that I built with my own hard work and labor. My children do not like me and threw me out of the house because of my addiction.Now, I want to repent and leave addiction forever because it has ruined me. I want to live. I will always be thankful and pray for Star Welfare Organisation, Hawa Shelter Home for helping me.
