On 27 August 2026, Muhammad Saleem, Sub-Inspector at Jhal Chakian Police Station, Sargodha, brought a girl to Star Welfare Organization and stated that she had been found helpless during patrol. The girl introduced herself as Komal, a resident of Chak No. 71 Shumali, Sargodha, and stated that she feared for her life from her family and therefore wished to stay at Star Welfare Organization.
Following this, Riffat Rani, General Secretary of Star Welfare Organization, admitted her to the organization, where she is being provided with shelter, food, and other essential facilities. There are several other homeless and helpless girls receiving support at the organization.
