STAR Welfare Organization continues its mission under Clause No. (2) of its Constitution: Women Welfare.
Shelter Provided to a Woman and Her Daughter
On September 12, 2026, a woman named Bilqees arrived at STAR Welfare Organization along with her daughter. She stated that she has four daughters and that her husband subjects her and their children to physical abuse.
She further explained that she no longer wishes to live with her husband. Her husband has kept three of their daughters with him, which has caused her great distress. Currently, only one daughter is with her, and she requested shelter and protection for herself and her child at STAR Welfare Organization.
Bilqees has been admitted to STAR Welfare Organization, where she is being provided with all necessary facilities and support.
