A Case of Women’s Welfare
On 4 September 2026, SI Nawaz of Police Station Factory Area, Sargodha, brought a woman named Rahel, wife of Saeem Masih, resident of Babu Mohalla, Sargodha, to Star Welfare Organization.
Rahel stated that her husband physically abuses her at the instigation of her mother-in-law. She said that her husband assaulted her again the previous day, after which she went to the police station.
She expressed her desire to stay at Star Welfare Organization and said that she was willing to reconcile with her husband on the condition that he would not subject her to violence in the future.
Rahel was admitted to the organization, where all basic necessities of life are being provided to her completely free of cost.
